Our Approach

Our Mission

Whole Healthy You offers non-invasive, non-surgical care that works. We use our 25+ years of clinical experience, combined with evidence-based testing, to get to the roots of chronic pain and other symptoms that keep people from feeling their best.

Our mission is to support YOU to reach your health and wellness goals.

We strive to open patients’ eyes to new ways of thinking about whole health by investigating the underlying causes of illness.

Once we know WHY, we can start to make changes together.

Our Story

Whole Healthy You has evolved from a small office called Whole Chiropractic Healthcare to a one-stop facility for all things healthy. After working for other doctors for years and feeling that he could do more for his patients, Dr. Robertson broke out on his own.

Whole Yoga & Pilates joined the space to enable us to offer multiple physical and mental options for self-care and stress-relief, from group yoga and pilates and fitness classes to individual yoga therapy sessions.

Our clinic, which has been operating in Odenton, Md., since 2007, uses evidence-based testing to investigate deeper into inflammatory conditions like arthritis, chronic fatigue, IBS, and even headaches. We work together with patients to create individual holistic plans to get them well from chronic pain and long-term muscle problems without drugs or surgery.

Whole Healthy You takes what’s known as a bio-psycho-social approach to care, using a model that considers spiritual and cultural factors, too. “Bio-” refers to your physical body and the chemistry that is affected by nutrition; “psycho-” refers to your mental/emotional body that can be affected by pain or affect your physical body when not doing well; “-social” refers to the person-to-person interactions that are crucial to be human beings—putting them all together allows us to have a truly holistic, whole healing experience.

I love to guide people through a combination of nutrition and hands-on care—with a touch of mental stress relief—to get them back to being the healthiest possible versions of themselves!

I had known I wanted to be a doctor since I was a child. I was always inquisitive, and I loved puzzles and mysteries and putting the pieces together to find out why things worked. I am fortunate to have been able to combine my love of science and nature with a passion for helping others.

After 25 years of practice and just about as many years doing yoga and meditating, I’ve learned that I don’t know everything—no one can! This understanding has allowed me the space to work with you to ask the right questions and find out how we can get to the bottom of what’s causing you pain and stopping you from doing what you want to do in life. Having been in injured and ill in the past myself, I know what pain feels like—and I know that you may be stressed about not knowing what to do next.

Let’s work together to get to the root cause of your problems so that you can get back to your life!
